New Performance Releases for 07 Diesel Pickups |
There has been a lot of news in the world of diesel performance this week in relation to the new 2007 Diesel Pickups from Ford and Chevy. Basically, Ford is releasing the 07 Powerstroke with no real modifications from the 2006 model. Like Chevy and Dodge, they are not ready to release the Ultra Low Sulfur low emissions version. We just confirmed that the Quadzilla Xzillaraider, XZT, and Commander packages will work on the 07 just like the 06. We will be talking with Edge, Pacific Performance Engineering, BullyDog and the others to see if they are also compliant with the 07 models.
As far as the 06 Duramax is concerned, only PPE, Edge and now Superchips have released anything. Quadzilla is days away from releasing the 06 Duramax XZT version, but they are still at least a month from having a new Stealth Tuner ready. Pacific Performance Engineering is about two weeks away from converting their LBZ Xcellerator to work with the 4500 Duramax Top Kick. Quadzilla says that they will be compatible as soon as their programmer is released. Both of those downloaders remove that very low top end governor on the Top Kick.
Stay tuned to Grimm Performance as the deadline to the January 1, 2007 Ultra low Sulfur Diesel counts down.
