Here are the latest developments from Quadzilla for the Chevy Duramax. They have still not released a new tuner for the 06, version, but, we have been told that they will soon be releasing that unit and several new modules. The tentative plan is for Quadzilla to supplement the programmer with a full line of modules. This will allow customers to choose between a downloader format where they can program for tire size etc. and a plug and play module.

The modules will most likely follow the pattern Quadzilla uses for other chips, so that it will probably be released in an economy or towing version (XZT), a midrange or standard version, and a race version. We have had no word yet if one module with do both the LLY and LB7 engines. The new tuner should handle both the old Duramax versions and the new 06 engine, the LB7.
