There are many companies out there making some very good cold air intake systems, so why do we here at Grimm Performance believe so strongly in the True Flow intakes and filters?  Performance vs. cost is one of the primary reasons.  For many applications, especially Dodge and Chevy, it is almost impossible to beat the horsepower gains that True Flow delivers, especially when you also consider the price.  For the Dodge Hemi, the intake delivers an incredible 19.1 Horsepower and 37.7 ft/lbs or torque.

True Flow uses foam for their filter instead of paper or cotton gauze.  This provides a filter media in depth, 16 times thicker than cotton, which allows the filter to continue to flow air even as the filter fills up with dirt.  A gauze filter traps dirt on the surface, which causes airflow to fall off dramatically over time.  True Flow also holds down their costs by replacing only those components that cause bottlenecks in the air intake system.  Fewer components equals lower costs.  They also believe in sealed systems, which provides superior protection against sucking water or mud through the intake.
